New Public Events: Superbloom and Emerald Bounty

The Superbloom
The Superbloom is the latest significant public scenario event in the Emerald Dream. You will accompany an Ancient of Life, Sprucecrown, as he commences a ritual to flourish life all around Amirdrassil, the budding world tree. He will require your assistance with various tasks along the way, such as hydrating flowers and removing weeds. However, danger also lurks, as the Primalists will not remain passive while we empower the tree with life.

The event commences at the beginning of each hour.

Dreamfruit
As Sprucecrown performs his ritual, some trees will sprout bearing large Dreamfruit. These Dreamfruit will bestow great powers to aid players in the event and in the zone beyond.

Dreamfruit are exceedingly rare and potent. Initially, players may only be able to perceive one, and consequently, acquire one power. However, as players advance in renown with the Dream Wardens and gain insight into the enigmas of the Dream, they will be able to perceive up to a total of four available Dreamfruit, thereby gaining up to four powers.

Each individual Dreamfruit during the Superbloom possesses its own distinct pool of blessings it can confer. Some offer formidable powers to assist you in combat, while others offer powers to help you advance the Superbloom to higher levels of Bloom. Mix and match and enjoy!

Bloom Quality
Public events in Dragonflight have undergone numerous iterations, and after considering feedback about the reward structure for Researchers under Fire, this is another iteration to experiment with something new. During the Superbloom, players will accumulate “Bloom”, which fills a bar at the top of the screen. Players will receive their primary, substantial reward for the Superbloom once a week upon their initial completion, regardless of the amount of Bloom gathered. Higher levels of Bloom offer additional rewards on top of that. The primary impact of Bloom Quality is the potency of the subsequent public event, the Emerald Frenzy, which connects to the Emerald Bounty.

The Emerald Bounty
The Emerald Bounty is a sequence of micro events triggered by players at will, all across the zone. It is divided into two parts: The Emerald Frenzy & Planting Dreamseeds.

The Emerald Frenzy
This is a minor event triggered immediately after the Superbloom. A random area in the zone will become infused with life energies for a brief period, causing the wildlife in the area to become frenzied! During this frenzy, enemies will become more formidable but will also drop larger quantities of the Emerald Dewdrop currency. Enemies will drop even greater amounts of Dewdrops the higher the Bloom Quality was at the end of the latest Superbloom.

Planting Dreamseeds
Throughout the zone, players will come across small patches of soil. Players will also discover Dreamseeds during their journeys in the Dream. Players can plant a Dreamseed in any patch of soil to initiate an Emerald Bounty event. The Dreamseed will begin to grow, and players will be able to contribute Emerald Dewdrops or even more Dreamseeds to help nurture the plant’s growth. Once the plant has completed its growth cycle, which only takes a few minutes, it will share its bounty with those who aided its growth.
