(upbeat music) (audience cheering) Here to show us the hottest shoe trends for winter is your Yahoo Lifestyle’s editor Chassie Post! Hi! Hi! Alright, welcome back. Let’s get started. Thank you. Let’s get started with snow boots. So the weather may be cold, but these trends are so hot, Carson. Let’s start with our first boot. This is Sorrel’s Joan of Arctic boot. Very appropriate for today. These are from Zappos. They’re $189 and what we love about these, this is sort of the boot that started the whole winter boot being a trend revolution. And the Sorrel thing has been a big thing for a couple of years. This is the gold standard. It’ll never go out of style.
Little faux fur. Yes, so soft and warm and will never let you down. And done in the army green which is a little different. So it’s not your boring black or brown. I love it. Next up, we’ve got a new take on another fav. It’s the Doc Marten Combat Boot. They’re back! I had these in the 90’s! Didn’t you? I think this might be them! It could be. They were all just stomping down those runways. We love a little bit of flower child mixed in with punk. Feminized it. Yes, feminizing it. It’s like an army in a really peaceful country like Switzerland. That’s right. So we found these at Free People, $150. Not bad. These. Obsessed. Moon Boots. Yeah, you’re taking me back. They are back! I’m having flashbacks to sixth grade and they’re not good. (laughs) These are fun. Aren’t they fun? They were created in the 70’s as an Apre Ski Boot, but they were inspired by the Apollo astronauts’ boots, right? I love this little new Moon Boot in the ankle style. Usually they’re nice and tall and this is like walking on zero gravity, I’m telling you. There are $118 right from Asos. Looks like we have a dad sneaker here, Chassie. I like to call them rad sneakers. Rad dad. A rad dad because lets face it, these are like Orthopedics with an edge. They are so cool! I love my Orthopedics with an edge! For people out there who want to get in on this trend, you’re right, it’s probably the biggest trend in shoes, you want to look for these great chunky soles, these exaggerated shapes in the soles, fun colors. These are just $69 and you can find them at Stara. They’re good at that. I love the slipper. A little smoking slipper. Loafers are also having a moment, and we’re loving seeing them in these luxurious fabrics like velvet. These are from Banana Republic, $118. We’re also seeing a lot of embroidering. Cute for Valentine’s Day. It’s it so cute? A very romantic moment. For the urban cowgirl, they’re going to be kicking up their heels in these metallic must-haves. That’s me! For a flat boot, this is amazing. Two trends in one. The silver and, also, the western style, which has been everywhere. This could be kind of dressed up, too. It doesn’t have to be with jeans. This could be a dressy go-to-work do. Absolutely. Or, if you’re going disco line dancing. Either one, it’s perfect. Sounds like Tuesday! $39 at Steve Madden. Okay. Now we’ve got heels. Look out guys. This neon green is an it it it color. We’ve seen it all over the runways, we’ve seen it all over the Kardashians. At the airport even. At the airport. And the Yahoo gals are going nuts over this color. Mix it with anything to jumpstart last year’s anything. I also think that lime green is a color best worn on the feet. It’s fun to do the neon, but you don’t want it up here. It’s a fun way to wear the trend. That is the perfect tip. These are $89. They come in the sock boots, so they’re easy to pull on. These are also from Zara. Next up, we are mad for plaid. These are boots with attitude, and they’re working about four trends in just this one example. We’ve got our plaid, we’ve got the lace-up, and the lug sole, the chunky boot. And the chunky heal, which is really big. Those are really fun. They are fun. We also love the strap detail with the silver. These are from Jeffrey Campbell, $150. These will make a statement. All you need, a statement shoe. Got it all. Our finale boot here. The snake boot. Snake, in our opinion, is the new leopard. I agree. It’s a faux python. It’s a faux python, it’s everywhere. No pythons were harmed. No, but we’re not the only ones who love them. You guys are going to see a picture of Emily Ratajkowski. Look, she is slaying these boots. I’ve been seeing this pattern a lot, whether it’s an ankle boot, the tall boot. It really is the go to animal print for this late winter/early spring season. 100% and we like to say, “It’s the new neutral.” It goes with absolutely everything in your closet. Emily’s boots were quite pricey. They can really get up there. But these are from Aldo, $200. We can get in on this one. Alright, thanks Chassie!
